I only wish this could be every week
It sounds like the kids in LA have been rocking like a hurricane lately, so naturally we had to get a few bloggers together up here in Stumptown as well. Even if it was the middle of the week and we all had to go to work in the morning, we didn’t let that slow us down from having what can only be described as a riotously good time.
I am a lucky guy to have been in the company of so much awesome all at once. But lest you think it was all just fun and games, I can assure you we were hard at work plotting the next TequilaCon. I can’t go into details (I am strictly Research — details come from the PR department), but I will give you this hint: you’ll want to bring some duct tape with you.
Oh, and don’t view any email attachments from these people. Just…trust me on this.

We wish you were down here rocking like a hurricane but…am soooo glad you all got together and had a fun time! Is it wrong to be jealous even though I am all over the blogging scene down here??

you can blame me because it’s true i only gave you 15 minutes notice, but you should also thank me because the things we saw that night are not things i would wish on my vilest enemy. i mean just the PHOTO of me seeing those things for the first time still haunts me.
Hilly: maybe we can set-up some sort of blogger exchange program. I, for one, wouldn’t mind spending a week laying on the beach.
Sibyl: while it’s fine to blame Brandon, remember that “JENNY WOULDN’T LET ME” is also a perfectly valid all-purpose excuse.
Brandon: the worst part about it is I keep seeing it everywhere now. I was on my way to get coffee this morning and I saw that billboard with the monkeys again and it all came rushing back to me.
i thought i had successfully dodged all the cameras. dang.

i was still laughing the next day from our night out. and i’ve decided to build the jenstown commune in the oregon woods somewhere…

And Jenny, me too, I couldn’t stop laughing the next day. I’m sure it was a combination of trauma and of the sheer comedy of it all.
