semi-kept promises
I got a phone call from a fellow local blogger the other night. “Dude,” she said. “I’m serious this time. Update your goddamn site.”
“Sure,” I said, always willing to entertain reasonable requests. “Tonight. I promise.” That was three days ago now. And I did do some updating, although not in any way that anyone can tell, since like a good nerd I spent some time tinkering with scripts that run the back end of my site.
I also promised myself I was going to take a minor break from writing posts about time spent in bars or posting pictures of the same. For this reason, I won’t post about meeting with the rest of the TequilaCon research committee for drinks last night. But I will say that I had a great time with everyone, and that it was nice to share some laughs together and sit around without the pressure of having to find just the right venue.
Meanwhile, spring is here. If we get some sunlight this weekend I’ll be out taking some pictures to share.
