We had a Volkswagen camper growing up, but ours did not feature an umbrella-covered top hatch with a smokestack coming out of it, or a fresh herb garden tacked on to the side.  Or a trellis on the back. Makes me wonder what else I wasn’t missing out on as a kid.

Jeez, I wonder what this guy was smoking when he modified his bus.
Oh, wait. THERE IS WHAT HE WAS SMOKING.*
(joke recycled from run jen run, shamelessly)
I’m not going to knock it. It’s not like I can recycle my PETA comment from her site. Cheers!
OMG - I can’t wait until TC07: PacNW! Kennedy School is never gonna be the same!
(What? I can’t recycle comments now, either?)
It’s totally gonna rock! Can’t wait to meet you!
(We’re really doing our part for the planet by recycling today!)
(And I picked you three as my blog crushes? What was I smoking? )
Did you go up and peek in the windows? Would love to see what the inside looks like…
I saw this van in NW about a month ago. It is the awesome!
Grow your own muchies….
Laurel, actually I did. It was full of doll heads and action figures. Don’t ask me why.
ashley, it’s not the most awesome custom car in Portland, but it’s up there. I mean gosh, look at this:
Dustin, I think in a pinch this guy could light a fire inside and turn his car into a gigantic bong.
You didn’t have one of those?! You poor, deprived kid. I assumed everyone did.
See… in Portland, cars are just inconvenient curb decorations anyway, since everyone either walks or bikes to everywhere. So, bloom where you’re planted, I guess. Especially if your plant is weed, er… herbs.
