Cell phone cameras aren’t great, but they’re better than nothing, and I was glad I had mine on Sunday when I was out on my bike ride through the Springwater Corridor.
My Dad would always take my brothers and I to see old steam trains and every train museum within a two-hour drive. I think the last time I saw a steam engine (moving) was in junior high school and they ran an old train through the Chicago & Northwestern lines out into the suburbs where we lived.
Your pic brought back a lot of memories!!! I can even smell the creosote …
Those engines are always so HUGE in person!
You saw Thomas the Tank Engine?? Did you get an autograph?
That is an AWESOME picture. Cell phone camera or not.
Erm yeah…you take better cell phone pics than I do on my regular camera. That’s my lame way of saying “good picture!”.
kyra, you were totally trying to set me up for a “that’s what she said,” weren’t you?
shari, I tried, but Thomas just bemoaned his lack of opposable thumbs and then the whole thing was awkward.
miss britt, I was lucky to get the engine to pose for me.
hilly, erm yeah…that’s my lame way of saying “thank you.”
My boy would love to see that train…..we used to visit far and wide for all trains in every nearby town.
The little engine that could . . . fit into a cell phone camera?
It’s the Hogwart’s Express!
