I have decided that today is going to be an exceedingly lazy Sunday, the type wherein which I only post some pictures of the local market, and I am willing to bet you probably have never seen this many types of cauliflower before.
And because it’s getting to be that time of year, a pumpkin.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to get caught up on reading blogs. Just as soon as I finish reading this novel. Just as soon as I finish savoring this enormous cup of coffee.

That’s a lot of color in the first photo. Beautiful.

Okay, I posted today before you did. So, if you happen to read where you got an award and the reasons WHY — I listed the reasons way before you wrote this entry including every last one of them, lol.
Glad you’re feeling better! And wow, that picture made me hungry for some crunchy bell peppers.
Now I’m going to have to make schiskabobs with veggies, potatoes, and marinated chicken for dinner now.
I love reading about your life. It seems very content and peaceful.
Have a great rest of your Sunday and a wonderful week!

You’re going to take me there too, right? I mean, right after we go eat cupcakes, get tattoos and then buy me a “toy”?
PS – glad you are feeling better!

That looks like heaven for a vegan like me… I’m on week five of this “trial” way of eating, and you can see from that picture you took, it’s not one that’s lacking in variety.

delmer, thanks, I love all the harvest colors this time of year.
amber, they were roasting peppers at the market and it smelled great.
sarah, it tastes even awesomer (as awesome as cauliflower can taste, I guess).
hilly, it’s all on the itinerary. shhh, other people are going to get jealous.
crys, I’d offer to take you shopping too, but I don’t want to offend your Victorian sensibilities.
atomic bombshell, if you’re lucky enough to have access to a farmer’s market there’s no end to the variety.

The colors in that first shot are fantastic. I think I’d go for the orange bell peppers.

How does a place with no sun grow so many brilliant-colored veggies?! OK, OK… I know you get, like, 4 days of sun, but still!

Our farmers market is over for the year because it is freezing cold now. I miss going there with my son and looking at all the vegetables that he won’t eat. For some reason, he was fascinated with them and made me buy a ton every time but when it came time to eat them, he was fine just watching me eat them.
That picture is beautiful.

claire, I vote for all the peppers. I have a hard time choosing.
shari, it took a solid week of sunshine to produce these peppers, thankyouverymuch.
radioactive tori, I think it’s going to freeze out here pretty soon too, honestly. There’s a cold winter on the horizon for us. Brrrr.
