I am tired and couldn’t quite muster up a full blown blog post. So I went digging in my photo archives and found this one, from the snow storm we had in ’03.
I’d been walking down the South Park Blocks, and a couple had brought their cats outside to photograph. I remember they were huddling together for warmth and were pretty annoyed at being outside in the snow. That look? is that kitty stabbing eye-daggers at its owner.

It blows my mind that people would purposely bring their cats out IN THE SNOW to take a photo of them.
Blows. My. Mind.

I can’t believe someone would think it was a good idea to bring the cats out. I hate being cold…why would the cats want to be? But they are pretty adorable in the snow all snuggled up together.

Those cats are probably *still* spraying all over their owners’ bed cover at night!

I don’t think they should let the blacks and the whites mix like that….especially in public. (And lest I receive any hate mail…..I’M KIDDING and couldn’t feel more the opposite way than I already do!)

Those kitties don’t look cold. Heck, they’ve got better winter coats than most Portlanders!

I get that look every morning when I turn the heated blanket off.
