I went home sick after only a few hours of work today. As much as I enjoy kvetching about nearly everything (cf. my Twitter stream), being sick is one of the few things I won’t bellyache about (though I will post about it… er, maybe twice.). The reason why is because I don’t want to be diagnosed with a stereotypical Man Cold:
(Oh, and speaking of Twitter: a few people have told me now they think my tweets are funny, which amuses me because I’m used to keeping myself entertained and cackling at my own jokes, so for other people to find them funny is kinda cool. That being said, if you’re picking up what I’m laying down, can y’all help a brother get on Favrd one of these days?)

Thus is the price we pay for living in air conditioning during the summer months.

I have a man cold, too! Only it’s just a cold, I guess. Anyway, feel better!

1.) I hope you feel better
2.) I am so glad that I’m not the ONLY ONE who cackles at her own tweets (um, and jokes for that matter).

The Man Cold video never fails to amuse me. As do you!

part of me doesn’t want you to be involved with the favrd crowd, because i still have hope that you’ll have a better life than me. but i know if i don’t star you, you’re just gonna get your stars from other people, and god knows what kind of people they are.

Since yesterday, I’ve come down with a little cold/allergy deal as well…and it sucks. Because today I have a full day off to myself and I don’t feel like doing one damned thing……but you know I will! And, by the way, I heard you had a great time out with the chicks recently…..WITHOUT ME….damn you all.

I haven’t been on twitter in weeks so I missed everything I guess. I love that you entertain yourself. I am the same way. My kids sometimes think I am lame because I am always saying something and then laughing about it. Whatever, at least I am amused.
I hope you feel better soon! My 5 year old has the flu and I know how yucky it is to be sick. Especially in the summer!

It’s amazing how hard I work to make my tweets worthy to read.

Hope you’re feeling better soon, Vahid!

Unlike you, I am the ONLY person who laughs at my humor; but if I don’t, my already-feeble little humor might disappear, and I can’t bear to risk it so I laugh. Alone. Sad really.
What is this Favrd? This is curl-discrimination, I’m sure of it. “Oh sure, let’s start a little crowd of curly-heads and not tell the straight-haired redheads about it.” Oops. Well, your secret’s out now and I’m going to start starring every tweet you chirp. Ha! That’ll show you.

I told you that you were funny.
Now how’s that giant zit on your face doing?
