game on
I was going to write a recap of our latest meet up, but after starting a new job this week with imposing deadlines, keeping Jenny out past her curfew on Monday, drinking wine to celebrate Sibyl’s new tattoo on Tuesday, hanging out with some of the rockingest bloggers I know on Wednesday, and going to a birthday party on Thursday, I discovered that today I am completely pooped out.
Fortunately Brandon and Jenny have both written up totally sweet recaps already, so with that pressure off I feel free to just post a few pictures and call it good.
Oh yeah, and one more thing. You guys?
You guys are awesome, and you know it. Thanks for the great time.
Look at all those curls in one place!
Congrats on the new job! But this means I’m down one birthday party, one housewarming, and now a new job party, too. Great. Portland SO needs to move closer to me…
proof of how awesome it was is that i have no recollection of posing for this photo.
i love the concentration in dustin’s and my face while we’re playing dance dance revolution. that game is HARD! thanks for pulling together the most awesomest of evenings - but wow, was i glad i just had to sleep on a plane the next day. can’t wait until the next time!
Hilly: Anymore curls and we would have reached some sort of critical mass. I imagine downtown Portland would have been completely uninhabitable after that.
Shari: Why can’t Wenatchee just sidle on down the river over this way, huh?
Brandon: It’s for the best you don’t remember because right after this we spent a good fifteen minutes awkwardly groping each other in the back seat of Dustin’s car.
Jenny: I was just glad to be able to sleep at work the next day. My employer was less than thrilled about his, unfortunately.
I was so glad to sleep on car ride home yesterday. WA Highway Patrol was less that thrilled about this, unfortunately.
Seriously though, such a blast. Totally worth the 6 hrs. of driving and 3 hrs. of sleep.
P.S. Vahid, you can keep your $5.
Oh Dustin, you are SOOOOO my hero.
