The beginning of the new year is a horrible time to make resolutions, I say. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s all well and good to set goals for all the things one hopes to accomplish over the course of the next three hundred and sixty five days, but January is far from the best time to focus one’s self on those goals, because the only two things people think for the first month of the year are I am soooo hungover and I can’t believe I spent all that money. I don’t even like those people that much.
So really, you should pick another day to mark on the calendar to say, “By this time next year, I’m going to have done some shit,” and then, you know, actually accomplish those goals. I’m picking today. That’s all I had to say, really.
Thirty years old. Wow. D’you suppose this means I have to start acting like a grown-up?
