While it’s great that you’ve grown your beard in with the premise of “If I can’t act my age at least I can look my age,” it’s probably time you started acting your age as well. Or at least, act your age while you’re at work. Ending your calls with, “Sweet, I’ll totally get right on that, dude,” while no doubt endearing to your friends who have come to accept your dorkiness, may not go over quite as well with your colleagues.
Also, consider combing your hair once in a while.
